How to install

  1. Download the file and run it. If Windows shows a blue "protected your PC" box, choose More info, then Run anyway. It needs no administrator rights.
  2. Follow the steps; DRL-FileSync starts when it finishes.
  3. Sign in with your account and pick where photos and backups should be stored.
  4. Keep the PC on. It sits in the tray and answers your phone.
Verify the download

After downloading, check that the file's SHA-256 matches this value. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash <file>.

  3. If Play Protect warns that the app is not from the Play Store, choose Install anyway.

Version 1.0.0 · 21 KB · works with DRL-FileSync for Windows

Download the browser extension

How to install

  1. Install DRL-FileSync for Windows (step 1 above) and start it once. It needs the installed program, not the Microsoft Store version. DRL-FileSync must be running for the extension to send.
  2. Unzip the download to a folder you will keep, for example C:\DRL-FileSync\browser-extension. The browser loads the extension from that folder, so do not delete it afterwards.
  3. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome (edge://extensions in Edge, brave://extensions in Brave) and turn on Developer mode in the top right.
  4. Choose Load unpacked and pick the unzipped filesync-browser-extension folder.
  5. Pin the DRL-FileSync button from the puzzle-piece menu if you like. Now right-click any text, link, image or page and choose Send to phone, or click the DRL-FileSync button to send the page you are on.

Shortcut: DRL-FileSync for Windows shows a Try our Chrome extension button until the extension is connected. It opens the extensions page and the extension's folder for you, since DRL-FileSync already has a copy next to the program.

Verify the download

After downloading, check that the file's SHA-256 matches this value. In PowerShell: Get-FileHash <file>.
